It's about time for us to get stuck into AdeptiCon 2016! Follow along with us over the next few days; March 31st - April 3rd, to find out what's going on in terms of events as well as meeting a whole host of the vendors and interview a bunch of companies there too.

Throughout the run up to AdeptiCon we've been interviewing the organisers of the event and some of the companies attending in a series called AdeptiCon Talks

GMM Studio has outdone themselves again this year with another stunning display. This year it's a ruined industrial display. It's a real testament to the hard work and dedication gamers put into their armies and terrain.

Reaper's Paint & Takemail Provides a Place To Hobby
One of the wonderful aspects of Adepticon is Reaper's Paint & Take area. Here attendees can choose a model, have a seat, and paint up their mini right here. It's great to see experienced hobbies showing newbies the ropes. Sometimes this booth is a person's first go at painting.
More Beautiful Entries For Crystal Brush
The amount of talent represented in the entries for the Crystal Brush is just staggering. It's always interesting to see the different choices of models and display pieces that are chosen, and it's nice to stand by the cases and listen to painters exchange tips and different methods used to produce results.

The pirates have landed at Adepticon and they are working feverishly to set up their very lovely, Fist Full Of Seamen game for Friday and Saturday. They have sold out for Friday night's game and only a few spots arrrrrrrrh left for Saturday night.

The more I look in the case, the more I realize that I really need to learn how to paint!
The Freeblades Are Adventuring
DGS Games is running demos of their fantasy skirmish game all weekend. You might notice the gorgeous terrain from Cracked Earth Studios is providing the setting for their demos.

While walking around one of the gaming halls in the demo area we stumble across a game that the guys just talked about on the weekender. Dawn sits down with the games creator Joey and finds out about This Is Not A Test.

Fantastic Crystal Brush entries. I would love to see more. The Swamp Monster in the blog at 18:56 looks brilliant… is it scratch built, kit bashed or a kit off the shelf? Do the entrants give any details about the manufacturer that you can get privy of? Are these amateurs or professionals because if they are not the former they should consider becoming the latter. Inspirational.
