Is there meant to be a video?
Should be above now chap
Yup its there – at least I can see it
Is a backstage pass thing?…All I am getting is a white screen
Nope its not Backstage, try clearing your cache
No still the same on Firefox and Chrome
cant see it on your you tube channel either…its probably me but I was watching other stuff earlier on you tube with no problems
Try restarting your computer mate
I restarted …still nothing
Fantastic day at Salute 2014, always enjoy the Beasts of War post review of the event; apologies for the Video Bomb at 35:50. On the upside, I’ve just joined Backstage to support the great work you guys continue to do for all aspects of wargamming!
Hmm I cant see any vids anywhere, time for a deeper look
Working for me on Chrome.
Awesome tables and interesting custom made rules.
Its working for me on Chrome now via the BoW you tube channel but not on the BoW site
Moehahaha, my training as Psyker is complete! I control what you can see, torros…
All bow down before me!
Really great to see the fantastic demo games getting some good footage. The effort some of those clubs put into the day is amazing.
Always good to see Salute
I really liked the look of the steampunk games; Wolsung and, especially, that Victorians on Mars game.
Some amazing tables there at Salute. Wolfsung looked interesting and was right at the type of scale I prefer collecting/playing these days (small skirmish).
I know GCT was there with some Bushido. Did you guys get a chance to get check them out?
It wasn’t the most artistic thing you showed, but I did like the 54mm game there, Hannibal against Romans. I do love the bigger models.
Other than that I just enjoy seeing people having fun in the hobby that I’ve taken part in for 20 odd years, and just how much variety there is beyond the big names. The world war 2 game that abstracts 15mm minis into 3 mm squads isn’t my cup of tea to play, but it sums up everything I love about this hobby. Something for everyone, and if it isn’t there, make it yourself.
Insanely good event. My first Salute and it left me asking the question “why the hell haven’t I attended one before?”
What amazed me is that my missus who I normally drag around games days fell in love with several games systems and minis and spaffed more cash than myself.
Already planning for next years, going to make a weekend of it and book a hotel on site as soon as the date is announced.
Great coverage as always guys.
Good vid, glad i got a wee video bomb in there 😛
I Video bombed 40:57 to 41:19. Great coverage so far guys. Cannot wait until the other videos.
cracking coverage, Carn’t wait to see the Phat Cats board 😉
WOW GREAT WORK, love the tables, far more then the stores, the best idea are there to see on the tables, and great to give them more coverlovelyness.
What a treat to sit with my dinner on Saturday evening and watch this. The show looks like it was awesome. Nice to see it isn’t all vendors trying to sell their wares and that it truly is a celebration of gaming.
I especially loved the various tables running awesome looking games using scratch built rules systems. Helps to remove the $ amount from anything.
I intend to look into Dystopian Wars and Sails of Glory after this.
Great job.
Outstanding coverage guys. Thanks for letting some of us who’ll never get there live it a little bit.
Nachtwulfen mit salt unt stripper-glitter….
Dave is looking debonaire and stylish as always.
No really good photobombs yet folks. You need to try harder.
It was really fun. The last time I went was in 2011 and it seemed a lot bigger and better this year.
I only managed to have a go at the batman miniatures game which combined my love of table top games and batman 🙂
Plenty of bargains and great models and gaming tables to inspire.
It was also good to see the beast of war team running around. I did not stop and chat as you looked busy but I do have a funny memory of talking to @warzan in 2011 when he was dressed up as a cowboy.
