White dwarf waste of a fiver, subscribe to back stage instead since codices and game critical updates will be on the GW website free after like two weeks anyway. Here’s a bit of irony for you, back when white dwarf was worth reading it was literally half catalogue- the back pages were just part numbers, (they used to actually let you buy parts!) and prices for new stuff. in necromunda you have to charge b4 shooting which i must admit is weird after playing 40k and yes it was great ordering from the mail order trolls back in the day
I never minded white dwarf codices back in the day, I don’t even think it will be the first time sisters got one. But making it split between two magazines kills the playability of the army. How do you even use that list when it’s split? 6th edition needs to be a drastic change to make 40k work, It is an antiquated relic that is nigh unplayable right now. I know there are more fans but it really is like a 20 year old historical with patchwork updates at this point. I am a little disappointed they are even trying… Read more »
The only way to make the list playable is to cart two WDs around everywhere or wait for the PDF to go up on the website a couple weeks later that collects them both together in such a fashion as to render the split list in white dwarf redundant.

hey hey thought it would be good to sum up the story I told via twitter…at least the key elements. first of all: 41.millennium and Astronomican 5.event: back in 41.millennium after 10 000 years in which the Astronomican sheltered Malcadors soul there have been 1000 psykers that were sacrificed to the Emperor every day and countless more that gave their souls to actually keep the Astronomican alive ( so doing a little round up we have 1000 every day being 365 000 a year makes a total of 3 560 000 000 souls that were sacrificed + lets say 1 000 000 000 more that died during their regular duty at the Astronomican ) the story says that their souls/vital… Read more »

Yeah it was fun just dropping in on them. I didn’t realise they were live though. I just finished an Infinity demo just before I walked in, Myk does a much better job of infinity demos. Hopefully with all the demos we did we’ll have a few players to make a tournament next year. Also I would like to make a point that this site’s first Birthday is about to come around. Would be nice to do something special. Have a cake and candles banner across the site, maybe do a time reel showing the diffent skin the BoW site… Read more »
