June 25, 2011 by warzan
We are Live at Q-Con today, Northern Ireland's premier gaming and anime convention.
The BoW team gets a chat with Jake Thornton about Dwarf Kings Hold: Green Menace and we get a look at a brand new game set in Discworld… Guards! Guards!
this came kinda out of nowhere …^^
Love the live stuff guys and keep it rocking at Q-Con. Glad to have something to brighten up this utterly dreary Saturday where I am lol. Shall enjoy watching the 6:00pm show back later and seeing what other stuff you guys got up too.
Would be fantastic if you could do some coverage of the roleplaying stuff and the boardgaming as well – get a nice all round view of whats going on there 🙂
DEamn you BoW i’m stuck at home with a sick mother and father and you are off ot Q-con and doing a live feed…DEamn you BoW… DEamn you.
Are you guys going to be putting them up as re-runs for us who missed out on the update and did not get up on time?
So i put a gagdet on my windows sidebar that shows the time in london and a currency calculator for pounds and euros to USD. It’s about time, im sick of googling these all the time lol

Then with a huge amount of bad luck I managed to not recruit three people in a row. I did pick up a spell and played my guild power. Really nice detail in the types of… Read more »
I played a game of infinity with Jake Thornton. We were setting up the game and a little girl comes over with Dwarfs kingshold, and he signed it for her. It was a nice moment of realisation for me, This is a game designer. Needless to say he wooped me good and proper using my army. Even though he’d only played first edition he still knew the rules and picked up the new rules like a pro. He’s a really nice guy, likes writing rules for fun. A pleasure to play against.
You would not believe how much it cost me to get him to say that 🙂
Jake
Seriously though, Q-Con was fun – I think reganspor just let me win though – great sales technique 😉
