Tunnel Dwelling Vehicles Added To The Veer-Myn Army Of Warpath
October 12, 2017 by brennon
Some quirky looking tunnel dwelling vehicles have been thrown into the mix for the Veer-Myn as part of Warpath by Mantic Games. Take a look...
One of the first vehicles added into the set includes this Veer-Myn Tunneller which has a big gun fitted to the front of it. No doubt this will smash through the rock and earth, maybe even some metal bulkheads, and fire its laser at whatever poor soul happens to be on the other side.
No doubt as they trundle through these Tunnel Runners will be following suit.
The Veer-Myn have some fascinating looking additions to their army with these vehicles and I love the idea of a mad Veer-Myn just ramming this as hard as he can into the side of a vehicle, or the guns blazing as it roars around the battlefield.
Both of these options are available as part of the Veer-Myn Reserve Force which is available from the Mantic Games webstore.
What do you think of their offerings and are the Veer-Myn for the force for you?

I absolutely love these models, some of my favourite from Mantic, and I say that being a stout Forge Father player. The tunnel runner is so simple a model and a ton of detail on it lovely work. I’ve not got the Tunneller itself yet, but I will 🙂
@avernos there great aren’t they , easy to put together but still fun to build, I backed the Kickstarter just to get some models to paint, I like the look of the game but no-one in my neck of the woods seems to play/want to play, it’s either play grimdark or nothing!
shame it’s a great game. I picked up 3 small forces so I can force my friends to play Deadzone, Firefight or Warpath.
@avernos…Thanks that’s a good idea, if I expand one of my Deadzone strike teams that would give me two small armies for Warzone Firefight…I guess it’s easier to introduce/ cajule someone into a game when they don’t have to provide an army!
Im thinking of trying warpath at 15mm, but I do like the wheel bike – think its the Tunnel runner
I got my tunneller from the KS today, lots of big chunky plastic pieces, fantastic!
Veermyn deadzone and warpath forces are on the schedule for the start of the year.
Those are some interesting looking vehicles.
I have been really impressed with the “chunkististy” of the Warpath vehicles, I myself have a pair of Forge Father tanks. Each army has a characteristic feel and as Avernos said earlier it is a ripper little game. I believe it is slowly building which would be nice as it is so much fun
I’m not sure about the mono-wheel, never really been keen on that as a concept (Antenociti make one, Star Wars Prequels a had them, never understood why you would make something like that).
The drilling machine though? I might get one of those just as a scenery piece
I think they were aiming for a “mouse wheel” aesthetic with this model. , but normally I agree with you about the the mono wheel thing … very silly.
they look good especially the tunnel borer.
To anyone looking to play some Veer-myn in Deadzone, note that there is an updated army list that rebalanced the army so that the rats are now survivable. You can get the updated beta here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bylsgat8pesmy8s/Veer-Myn2.0-PublicBeta.pdf

my facrtion for Warpath.
Cant say I am a fan of the doomwheel. It isnt a bad model but too blatant a rip-off.
I love the tunneler thing though, could work in any sci-fi or dystopian game. Might work for doing Dropzone Commander Rebels in 28mm for a homebrew game.
