Enforcer Jetbikes Herald The Warpath Kickstarter Launch Soon
September 11, 2015 by brennon
Mantic asked a rather rhetorical question over on social media about the rather fancy painted version of one of their Enforcer Jetbikes. "Do you want to see this in Warpath?" This was also followed with a yes and the announcement that the Warpath Kickstarter will launch 21st September 2015.
It was also a desire to see it pop up in the likes of Deadzone too. I am a big fan of the design of his jetbike which reminds me of the Sparrow from Destiny in its design.
The sleek nature of it works well alongside the rest of the Enforcer aesthetic.
Would you be tempted by Warpath with models like this and the Peacekeeper you see here?
There is going to be much more to show off over the next few days and weeks so keep an eye on the Mantic Blog.

Not only tempted, SOLD!
Looks like a Lego kit.
It would probably get me back into Lego if it was!
I thought exactly the same when I saw the picture in the breaking news section
Now that you say it…
God damn you mantic, with Battle systems on the 18th now Warpath on the 21st god damn you and god damn your duck pond.
Isn’t it the jetbike from the Deadzone Kickstarter?
Yep, which was really a prelude to the Warpath one
Everything in the last KS was a prelude to Warpath
That looks really nice.
Ehh, too soon after the Deadzone infestation for me. The beta rules haven’t sold me, and frankly, Gates of Antares are pretty much right next to this… unless it’s something amazing when the kickstarter drops, will probably skip.
wow i WILL GO FOR ONE OR TWO IF ITS MADE OF PLASTIC!
like.
I was in for the original Gates of Antares KS, but since that was dropped, I’ve fallen into Mantics DeadZone. This bike looks fantastic and is the only thing I backed their DZ2 kickstarter for. I keep looking at Gates of Antares, but the prices Warlord charge is making me baulk. Problem is, I kinda like the rules. But not the armies in the starter set. Warpath has some great minis (now they are moving to hard plastic), at a great price, but I’m not sold on the rules! Rock to the left, and Hardplace to the right 🙁
Your thinking on GoA and this mirrors mine. I suspect I will end up playing GoA rules with a bunch of minis from other sets including deadzone.
This is the beauty of modern tabletop gaming – we have access to an unprecedented amount of models for virtually every setting you can think of, and a plethora of different rulesets to use them with. While it may not be ideal for tournament play, there’s no issue whatsoever with a couple of mates playing games with a selection of different manufacturers models with the game system of their choice. As long as both sides know what model represents which unit, fill your boots! There’s no need to be tied to a single manufacturer anymore!
I’m in. Love the transition possibilities from DZ
Yes, please!
I’m still waiting for my rewards for the Kings of War and Deadzone Infestation kickstarters. Kinda hard to shell out more money when I haven’t received anything back yet.
To be fair, Deadzone Infestation isn’t anywhere near the shipping stage! Kings of war should be making it’s way to you fairly soon though.
been looking forward to this kickstarter for years, just a tiny bit miffed as mantic has said for a long time they probably wouldnt start this kickstarter until early 2016….
ho hum time to save some pennies
….Aaaaaannnnd right when I have no money :'(
From what I have read of the Beta rules I think I would playing in Warpath in 6 or 15mm. Seems far better suited to a smaller scale
I’ll be jumping in for the miniatures alone….as the rules are not my thing. If the miniature deal turns out to be weak, then I can drop out.
So I’m hoping for some juicy miniature deals and expansions
I’ve got shed loads of plastic enforcers from the first DZ kickstarter, but I want some of the drop ships they’ve been teasing… I’ll be in for this one, definitely.
I’d love to see some plastic marauders in the same style as the DZ ones – blood axes ahoy!
I love the bike’s design. I want some just for painting sake.
Sorely tempted to back it, if only for $1… or maybe just the rulebook, you know.. just in case…
