Warcradle Open Up Pre-Orders For Dystopian Wars Classics Wave II
July 24, 2018 by brennon
Warcradle has announced the second wave of classic ships from Dystopian Wars. The next set of ships are available over on the Wayland Games webstore HERE.
The new set of releases covers ships from the Prussian Empire, Covenant Of Antarctica, Russian Coalition and the Mercenaries who will fight for whomever! I picked out some of my favourites from the new wave including the Sturmbringer Submarine...
...and the Tiksi here. Both of these vessels have something awesome about them in their design and you can see a lot of the detail has been carried over from the original sculpts into the new products.
I never really got to the point of being able to bring many of the Submarines and such into the fold for Dystopian Wars as a lot of my focus was on Uncharted Seas from Spartan Games at the time. Maybe in the future, Warcradle will bring that back as well!
Are you going to be jumping in on these old classics?

great looking models.
Those are very nice.
They look nice but this game never floated my boat. Anyone recommend it?
I see what you did there 🙂
I’m waiting for Uncharted Seas as well. The whole, way-too-varied Land/Sea/Air aspect of this originally turned me off.
Loved DW, gutted for spartan, we played with hardly any big fliers, kept it to sea based, was still really good, the factions were so varied, and Neil’s background was superb. Hope that carries over but doubt it.
Okay …. just a few pieces of information about Warcradle and these releases which have been made public but I am unsure of how far it has spread. I am just disseminating information, I realise that many of you are aware of this, but as a Warcradle enthusiast who has been hanging on every video Q&A that they’ve had since I rediscovered WWX late last year here is what they have announced. 1) These casts aren’t new. They are the old Spartan Games ones. When Warcradle bought the moldering corpse of Spartan, they got a truck load of stuff, unsorted… Read more »
Good to see the stuff reappearing out of the void. I’m waiting for the British stuff to get found so I can finish off my fleet. I agree with the general sentiment that the old game was a bit OTT with land, sea and air all combined into one game. The “land” part also felt a bit off for me so mainly we focused on sea engagements with some air support. I agree with Warcradle’s decision to split the games, and I am hoping they can salvage a good game out of it. What I am really looking forward to… Read more »
never thought I see this game again. Hope the clean up the rules and keep the releases within a sound limit. They made so much every month it was getting out of hand.
