Lady Liberty Brings Her Lasers To Warcradle Studios’ Dystopian Wars
October 25, 2023 by brennon
Another month has almost passed and that means we're diving into a new set of Dystopian Wars releases for the month of November from Warcradle Studios. This time around, we're seeing some laser-shooting ladies of liberty with two new Battlefleets and another Frontline Squadrons set.

The newest of the sets for the Alliance comes in the form of the Couronne Battlefleet Set. This offers up the rather excellent-looking Couronne Grand Carrier which looks like it has been taken from the streets of Paris itself.
Couronne Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars
As you can see, it's got the base of the Eiffel Tower in its design to really hammer home that French theme to the miniature. You'll note that it works as a good basis for launching aeroplanes to attack the enemy but it also houses a lovely weapon atop that centre of the craft. Use that to show your enemies what liberty really means!
Grand Carrier // Dystopian Wars
If you'd prefer to bring liberty to the tabletop via a more on the nose route then you've also got this variant of the the Grand Carrier with La Dame Liberte!

I don't think that she's going to be quite as welcoming to travellers from across the sea. I can't think of any reason why you wouldn't want to build your next take on the Couronne as La Dame Liberte! Let the lady shine I say!
This set also comes with a Chasseur (Furieux or Voliere) as well as two Chevalier Cruiser (Charlemagne, Loire or Picardy). There are also two Epaulard Artillery Submarines (Sirene) as well as four Ecuyere Frigates to seal the deal. A properly nice set of miniatures for the Alliance.
Falkenstein Battlefleet Set!
If you prefer fighting for the Imperium then you might also want to scoop up the Falkenstein Battlefleet Set.

This set comes with the impressive Falkenstein Battlecarrier itself alongside a Volsung Class Cruiser, two Sigimer Class Destroyers (Toten) and one Blucher Cruiser (Augustus or Schaumburg). Capping things off, you also get two Arminius Frigates.
Another awesome set of miniatures with some great modular elements to help you build the kind of ships that you need for a given task. It's nice that pretty much all of the Dystopian Wars kits come with different weapon options which can just be plugged in and out as you see fit depending on the enemies you'll be coming up against.
Egyptian Reinforcements
Last but not last, we also have the Egyptian Frontline Squadrons which look like they are properly laden down with weapons for the Sultanate to play around with.

This set of reinforcements comes with bonus miniatures to help you with taking on your foes. You have the Mandjet Heavy Skimmer (Sabah, Sobek or Mesktet) as well as two Hashashin Destroyer Skimmers (Kopesh) so you can blast your foes to pieces and sink them!
All of these miniatures will be available for you to scoop up from Warcradle Studios next month in November so start making your plans and work out your new fleet combinations now!
Will you be picking up these sets?

"...start making your plans and work out your new fleet combinations now!"
After that headline I’m disappointed that there is no full on walking Lady Liberty warbot XD
There is still time…
Aawwwww! Man, that’d be AWESOME! Also, I thought that said “Frankenstein Battleleet.”
