Hit The Seas With Dystopian Wars’ Enterprise Battlefleet Soon
February 23, 2022 by brennon
Warcradle Studios has many more goodies awaiting those diving into their games next month. The Enterprise Battlefleet Set leads the way for the folks playing as The Union. Do you dare explore the final frontiers of Dystopian Wars? Well, on the high seas at least.
Enterprise Battlefleet Set // Dystopian Wars
This new Battlefleet Set focuses on a bigger ship and offers up a new starter option (or expansion option) for those diving into Dystopian Wars as The Union.
Enterprise Heavy Carrier Front // Dystopian Wars
Enterprise Heavy Carrier Rear // Dystopian Wars
It comes with the mighty Enterprise Heavy Carrier as well as the very customisable Cruisers that we've become accustomed to with this edition of Dystopian Wars.
Discovery Class Cruiser // Dystopian Wars
I've included some of the different Cruiser options here but there are many more for you to check out over on their blog. It's a simple case of swapping out some of the weapons in order to represent different ships. If you like the idea of fiddling with magnets then you can do quite a lot with these kits.
Washington Class Cruiser // Dystopian Wars
The new Battlefleet Set comes with the aforementioned Enterprise Heavy Carrier, three Yorktown Class Carriers (which can also be built as Intrepid, Lexington or Reliant). You also get six Farragut Class Frigates, three Akron Observation Rotors and three Discovery Class Cruisers (which can also be built as Roanoake, California, Montgomery or Washington).
This is then finished off with the rather awesome RC-52 Patriort Automata which can fly around and offer some additional air support during your games.
Japanese Frontline Squadrons
If you're looking for a new option for those playing as the Japanese then you have access to a perfect bonus option. These Frontline Squadrons would be a solid option alongside the recently released Kongo Battlefleet Set.
Japanese Frontline Squadrons // Dystopian Wars
Much like other Squadron sets, this offers up a selection of smaller options that can be used to customise your fleet of choice. If you want more of one particular ship then this gives you significant options for upgrading your heavily armed flotilla.
Okinawa Class Cruiser // Dystopian Wars
There are all manner of different options for you to choose from when it comes to building your Cruisers within this set. Again, it's a simple matter of working out the best armaments for the job at hand!
Yamaguchi Class Cruiser // Dystopian Wars
Inside the set, you'll find two Osaka Cruisers which can also be built as Kanagawa, Hokkaido, Okinawa, Miyagi, Yamaguchi, Ishikawa or Honshu variants. Quite a lot! You also get four of the Kyoto Frigates to act as support ships and the Chita Automata which can hove around the flanks and keep your foe at bay.
It is a good time to be a Union or an Empire/Japanese player at the moment that's for sure. Make sure to check out the blog for more detailed images of the different ships and watch out on the Wayland Games webstore for the pre-orders coming up soon.
Do you like the look of these new ships?

Awesome ?
I saw the post-war USS Enterprise in the 80s on holiday and holy moly it’s huge. Even from miles away it was just vast. I love that Dystopian Wars are riffing on it.
A brilliant battle fleet box I think a second carrier could be added to improve air cover I think?
Those look nice.
I’ve been resisting I feel my resistance may be failing
Already pre-ordered the Enterprise box. Considering the Red Oak box as well.
