Gale Force Nine’s Collectors Series Dragon Looks Amazing!
February 21, 2015 by brennon
Gale Force Nine have revealed some more awesome images of their amazing D&D Collectors Series Red Dragon. See what you think of this terrifying drake!
Now that is an awesome looking dragon from the folks at Gale Force Nine and it's not even actually out yet or even on their webstore! They have taken the iconic looking Red Dragon from the front of the new Dungeon Masters Guide and turned it into quite the masterpiece worth picking up if you are fan of dragons and indeed painting up big models.
I have been really into Dragons recently and with D&D Attack Wing, D&D Dice Masters and now Gale Force Nine looking to these impressive beasts it's going to be hard to not just give in and have loads of them on every shelf.
What do you think of this beast?

I want one. Totally have no practical use for it but…I want one. 😛
I really really want one! But is it resin, plastic or what? And how much for that beast ? Either way I can feel my money being pulled out of my wallet already.
It will most likely be resin like the rest of their range 🙂

That is a beauty
wow, looks great!
Need !
That said, Mierce also has nice pieces when it comes to dragons, in the same general size range…
That’s a proper dragon. I don’t need it but I want it
Beautiful dragon! The musculature on the wings is great. They actually look functional, like the dragon can fly.
looks good.
An other dragon I need!
What a amazing dragon.
Must resist urge to buy…
Now that is a Dragon.
That is going into the collection
I saw this last year at Spiel 14 and had just missed out on the chance to buy a pre production as last one had just been sold. I don not need one as I know nothing of D&D but mine is on order. They also have another dragon coming out June time onwards which is also very nice, unable to post pics here.
what is this other dragon? do you mean the dracolich or something else? can you describe it (if it’s not the dracolich)
It’s even got a chink in its scale …near it’s heart… Couldn’t imagine what else you could use this for….
It’s unpossible to conceive! 😛
Oh, man. If you’re having trouble not picking up dragons now, just wait until the Bones II stuff is available. There’s a brilliant diorama, and all of the huge stuff is way cheaper than it has any right to be.
I figured I had enough dragons (I’ve got at least one for every size category- actually quite a few, and my size categories go up to two feet tall) so I grabbed their Terrasque instead.
I’ve got a few of the dragons from the first kickstarter. Cheap like borscht, and surprisingly detailed. And you’re right, that massive dragon diorama from Bones II is quite impressive, and has been on my radar for some time, along with some of the larger giants. Can’t wait for them to become available to non-backers. They’re in the middle of delivering their kickstarter stuff as we speak.
