January 10, 2023 by brennon
AntiMatter Games have teamed up with Lv427-Designs to bring a new chapter of the DeepWars wargame to life. A new Kickstarter will be landing at the end of the month where you and a friend will be able to explore the Sunken Citadel.
Sunken Citadel Kickstarter (Preview) // AntiMatter Games
This will be a new 3D Printable adventure game for two players set in AntiMatter's Uncharted Realms. One player will take on the role of a band of mercenaries and pirates as a Breach Team. The other player will then take on the role of the Invaders who have corrupted the station's crew and taken over the station. There are also the typical DeepWars Wild Creatures that you'd expect swimming around and eating everyone!

The game can also be played with additional players as you can add various factions from DeepWars into the mix. You can also play through Sunken Citadel solo with the Invaders and the Wild Creatures being controlled by the inbuilt AI routines of the game.

As well as being 3D Printable, there is also going to be a physical boxed set option. So, if you think that you're going to miss out, there are some great options for you. The physical set comes with four resin Fortune Hunters, twelve resin Monsters & Wild Creatures, four Full-Colour Printed Maps, three Dice plus Markers, Rulers, Templates and the Campaign Booklet.
There is also a partnership with Lv427-Designs who have been working on the thirty map tiles which can be used to enhance your experience on the tabletop rather than using the printed maps. So, you can either go physical as mentioned above or work down the road of getting the entire 3D Printable affair that can be done at home.
More information on Sunken Citadel can be found HERE over on the AntiMatter Games website and as mentioned, keep an eye out for the Kickstarter landing on 30th January!

Lv4-27 do some nice terrain pieces I’ve used them to create my Aliens themed game board. The underwater fortress pieces are looking very Bioshock which I have no problem with. Very interesting.
Ooh nice.
