Mierce Miniatures Unleash A Mighty Dragon On Darklands
March 24, 2020 by brennon
Mierce Miniatures has been showing off a few of their stylish looking models for the brutal Fantasy world of Darklands that got released recently. We start with Lludial, Draiggoch Of Yr Wyddfa which got added to their webstore ahead of a release on April 4th!
I can't think of many people who aren't big fans of Dragons and this is a rather fantastic looking one they have added to their collection. This particular piece was sculpted by Bartłomiej Płociennik based on artwork by Kurt Jakobi and it would be quite the centrepiece figure for your army. You could imagine it being the jealous guardian of whatever ruin it is sitting on top of.
Mighty Dragon Lords
Keeping with the theme of drakes but in a different form, we also have Cadwaladr The Blessed & Rhi Of Gwynedd here who look like they have been pulled directly from a classic Fantasy film of the 80s or 90s!
I think they look rather awesome indeed and I love the attention to detail which has been worked into the armour. That sword is looking like quite the epic artefact of war too and it has no doubt claimed quite a few heads in its time. There is a nice touch of the Arthurian about the designs too which works well within the Dark Age setting for Darklands.
Both the mighty Dragon Lludial and this pair above are going to be available on the aforementioned date of April 4th so you've still got time to dive in and pre-order them.
Are you going to be snapping up these new warriors and winged beasts?

To give you guys an idea of his size this big bugger is on a 120mm base and measures 450mm from base to tip of the wing.
I am already so broke!
