In the beginning was the Power, and power was good. It resided in the tensions raised from the frustrations of humans when separated from their beloved pairs of socks. Some came to love, even to crave the feeling of that power. From that desire came forth a cabal as old as time, the Bord of Gobcorp, dedicated to the gathering of the mighty Sock energies, to an end that everyone fears but none truly understand..
