New Alien Invaders Join Crooked Dice’s 7TV Collection
February 24, 2022 by brennon
Crooked Dice earlier this month added a bunch of awesome new Alien Invaders to their Sci-Fi collection. These are pretty darn handy for those wanting to play out some more 7TV on the tabletop and new retro story!
Alien Invaders #1 // Crooked Dice
This collection has been growing for a little while and it's neat to see the miniatures now popping up over on their webstore. I would love to say that I know what show or movie these have come from but I just don't remember! Maybe someone in the comments can let me know.
Either way, these are looking awesome. The first set offers up a set of commanders and characters who can lead the way. The other sets then offer up security forces and soldiers that are looking to enforce the invasion of these alien forces.
Alien Invaders #2 // Crooked Dice
The third of the sets and the newest one comes with an advisor/officer. They have said that they come in peace but I don't think that peaceful invaders come armed with batons and rifles!
Alien Invaders #3 // Crooked Dice
I think these miniatures look really clean and crisp and would be a fantastic force for your heroes to go up against in 7TV. You can also buy all of these miniatures separately if you like too as you can see by the numbering on the bases.
Resistance Fighters
As well as the Alien Invaders, you can also pick up a set of Resistance Fighters who are looking for the truth.
Resistance Fighters // Crooked Dice
Maybe these individuals will be able to get the word out that these Alien Invaders didn't come in peace! When the media route fails, it's also a good idea to have some weapons to hand as well. Again, a great set that will work very nicely in the narratively driven game of 7TV.
Are you tempted to snap these up?

V for Victory.
Crooked dice have some real talent and these are great fun. Really does make me want to get hold of V
Those bring bring back some memories, mainly of trying to persuade my parents to let me stay up to watch V.
I’m glad it wasn’t just me ?
Do the invaders come with crates full of small mammals?
Where is Robert Englund? aka Willie the nice alien…
The Diana mini is brilliantly painted with the reptilian skin under her mask.
I’m disgusted with you @brennon…. not recognising the series V…
You should find the DVD immediately and watch it… just the original mini series… not the second season (where they dropped the budget for alien voice effects) and certainly not the awful reboot.
I am humbled
To be honest… it’s one of those series that you remember as being far better than it probably was and if you saw it now may be disappointing.
But there were some fun characters in it, both visitor and resistance.
It was mostly awful
Now, now, it had Michael Ironside in one of his few heroic roles.
Ironside was great in that series.
I feel better now then haha
Those look really good.
Damn, how did they know I binged watched this just a couple weeks ago?
Jeez, I had the biggest boy-crush on Diana back in the day.
I think I love for femme-fatales started right there.
And I love Ham Tyler with that absurd Mac-10.
Why a Mac-10?
Because EIGHTIES, man! 😀 😀 😀
I remember sneaking up to watch the original “V” miniseries when it first aired as a young kid, when I was told not to. And I WAS thoroughly tramatized when the reveal hit. Nightmares for weeks. Still, no regrets! =)
