Enter 7TV’s Dark Fortress With Crooked Dice Fantasy Pre-Orders
August 13, 2024 by brennon
Later this week, Crooked Dice will launch their pre-order campaign for a brand new 28mm scale Fantasy feature pack called Dark Fortress. It will feature some familiar faces, a new 7TV campaign and twenty-three new miniatures.
7TV Dark Fortress // Crooked Dice
The Dark Fortress campaign will feature a four-episode campaign and some dashing heroes like the fellows below. Considering all the chatter about Krull from Gerry last week, this seems like an apt set of miniatures!
Dark Fortress Stars // Crooked Dice
Sculpting for the campaign has been done by the talented Ernst Veingart, Mark Evans, Michael Anderson and Kev Adams and will feature all manner of vagabonds and villains for you to use as part of the mini-campaign.
Creed's Raiders // Crooked Dice
Brion Guards // Crooked Dice
Whilst these miniatures are going to be great for use within this particular campaign, they would also be a solid fit for whatever other Fantasy games you might have in your collection. Regular guards and grotty killers could fit into all manner of different settings. I could see these being good for the likes of Frostgrave and Guards Of Traitor's Toll.
Last but not least, we also have these terrible demons that you'll be able to scoop up and add in as the main threat at the end of your campaign!
Blight Avatar // Crooked Dice
Sorcerous Sentinels // Crooked Dice
Peltskin Reavers // Crooked Dice
I sense there being a mighty standoff in episode four of the campaign when you find yourself taking on this winged creature and its minions. I really like the painting on the minions, especially with that deadly red-hot glow coming off the points of the blades.

Hero Bundle // Crooked Dice
Villain Bundle // Crooked Dice
Watch out for these pre-orders coming soon and let us know if you'll be having a Krull-tastic time!

Yes! Now we need Robbie Coltrane, Liam Neeson and Todd Carty miniatures.
I wanted the next batch of minis to be from the Princess Bride…
My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die…
The dude in the yellow dress is a great sculpt.
The rest are fantastic!
