Crocodile Games Reveal New Ancient Greek Demigods!
August 9, 2018 by brennon
Crocodile Games has added to their WarGods range with a new set of Demigods for you to check out. These are aspects of the greater gods on the tabletop and do look rather awesome indeed.
Each of the models has been themed after their Ancient Greek origin and you'll see most of them feature aspects of their mythology in their sculpts. There are a LOT of models to go through so let's get stuck in and power through the list...
Ares
Artemis
Athena
Dionysus
Hades
Hecate
Hephaestus
Poseidon
Some awesome models I think you will agree. I really like the look of Poseidon and Hades as the brothers of Zeus. I think they have managed to capture the essence of those gods in these sculpts and they really stand out from the collection.
The models were sculpted by Chris FitzPatrick and painted by Felicity FitzPatrick, sterling work!
Will you be snapping these up to use in your games set within the Ancient era?

Those are very nice. I am just confused why they all of those demigods/demigoddesses when some of them are actual gods and goddesses from Greece pantheon. I have always thought that demigod/demigoddess is child of god and mortal woman. You know like ones that Zeus had like Heracles and Perseus.
As far as I am aware they are aspects of these Gods on the tabletop rather than them in their full glory
A demi god is technically the result of god and mortal, so if they are ‘aspects’ rather than the full thing then I think they should be called ‘Avatars’.
In WarGods, the leader of your warband is a Demigod – the actual offspring an Olympian god and a mortal. That is why some of these have several different models available – they represent different children of the god.
Brian Blessed!
I’m assuming you mean Dionysus… I can almost hear him shouting ‘Hercules is alive!’
Got it in one 🙂
Well spotted!
My god they look good.
Again this seems to rise from the either! Its always nice to see them still alive and kicking.
I love their Wargods of Aegyptus range.
