Three Riderless Dragons Are Finished By Creature Caster
January 14, 2015 by brennon
Creature Caster have put together some finalised designs for their Riderless Dragons and they are looking pretty stunning which is great. See what you think of them...
Some amazing Dragons that all look at different takes on these winged beasts. The first one is a more traditional dragon while the second takes a more undead stance. The third has the facial features of the wyverns we're used to seeing in games like Warhammer Fantasy but equally awesome with the armoured plates along its neck.
The musculature and scales on these Dragons is insanely good looking and I can't wait to see them actually become physical objects. Here's hoping for a massive crop of Dragons soon.
What do you think?

Those look great.
Amazing work. I’ll be getting a few of his sculpts as centerpieces for my armies.
Superb ! Gorgeous ! Bravo !!!
Future tutorial, Romain? 🙂
Now those are great looking Dragons, with something of a Skyrim feel to them. Has anyone seen the Dovahkiin?

Dragons … must have …
How does he put on those straps? Why are they there?
For easy conversion to version with rider?
And quite frankly I’m tired of seeing 3D renders. Let’s see some actual cast models, please.
In case you haven’t seen the rivets, they have armor plates strapped on…
As for seeing the actual model, I couldn’t agree with you more ! However, would you rather have no news of this kickstarter at all until models are produced ? At least we’re now informed hat the project is going forward, and we have a preview of things to come.
There are pictures of this company’s previous mini’s all over the net. Easy enough to judge the quality based on those.
Its time to see the creatures casted. No more renders for me, no matter how nice they may look.
They’re not late, you know, for a kickstarter… If you’d rather see nothing…
Even to have one as a centre piece at the dinning table would be spectacular.
Those are very nice looking designs. You just cannot have too many dragons 🙂
I backed the KS initialy and backed out.
I prefered to pay more and therefore see the actual qualitiy of the cast….
As other people already said, renders are nice, but for example with a descent cast this model will be a hell of a project to clean up for priming if you had remove casting flash….
I still think the company knows their craftmanship but a massproduction of such huge pieces is a difficult thing quality-wise
