Arkazan Greatwing Reveals His Presence For Wrath Of Kings
January 19, 2016 by brennon
CoolMiniOrNot have revealed another of the upcoming monstrous characters from the world of Wrath of Kings. See what you make of Arkazan Greatwing who is a mighty demon with the power of the Slayer Blades in his hands...
Now that is one awesome looking beast for the Nasier. Resilience is a big key feature of Wrath of Kings and Arkazan's blades enable him to reduce the resilience on enemies meaning that he should do some damage when he swings.
Also apparently his wing buffet rule allows him to escape the clutches of smaller and insignificant foes so he can choose his foes. I think the model is looking great and I love the over the top nature of his sculpt with the crazy anime hair.
What do you think of Greatwing?

he would make a brilliant gargoyle for heroquest?
Very nice.
Very nice model, looking forward to more Wrath of Kings releases. I was kinda worried it stagnated after its successful release
I know it may look like they have stalled but they seem to have a release plan that is more in big waves rather than trickle that you tend to see with other companies. I seen many of the models posted in advance on my local hobby stores website as advance releases about a month ago and the pics were painted studio models. They all looked cool and yes the above model was one of them.
This range has some great sculpts. Very remenicent of Rackham of old. I hope they delivering because their recent releases were among the best in the line.
Unfortunately there isnt much to be found about the quality of the rules.
Sweet. Not keen on the weapons, though.
I like it! I wouldn’t be able to paint it that nicely but I like it! 😀
Yes indeed, a very nice sculpt!
I really really cant wait to pick up this game!
I believe the Arkazan Greatwing is actually a Rank 1 Specialist, rather than a unique Character- this means you can field more than one in your force, should you wish! 🙂 You can also find Arkazan Longhorns and Arkazan Greathorns in the same Faction.
I’ve actually just started putting together a House Nasier army (my third for WOK)- this guy and some of the new Pelegarth Brutes will be finding their way into it methinks…
Rules are excellent, alternate unit activation if you still have leaders to do so. 1d10 combat resolution with a fair amount of buffing to give you tactics, thin you can download free from cmon.
Rules are very good excepting those about line of vision.
