It sounds like a nice expansion which gives you a lot more toys to play with. The main focus is around the life of a Mercenary. I'd love to see how they deal with sieges and larger battles.
There were some very good rules for playing out battles in the Dragon Age RPG from Green Ronin, but I would assume that the world of Conan has a few more brutal tricks up its sleeve.

Being able to command armies and have the fate of nations in your hands has always led to fun roleplaying games as well as being an important part of many Conan stories, so this book should be great in bringing those stories to the table.
