King Conan Takes Shape For Monolith’s Board Game
August 26, 2015 by brennon
King Conan is coming to life thanks to the Monolith Conan Board Game bearing the same name as the deadly Barbarian. The artwork below by Xavier Collette has been made into a digital sculpt by the talented hands at Thirdman Studios. See what you think...
I think he's coming along very nicely and they've managed to capture the artwork perfectly. I like that they've given some extra embellishment to the sword he is holding to, giving it a more regal look.
As an additional Kickstarter reward you're going to be very lucky when you get this in your package of goodies in a few months time (we hope).

And the pledge manager has finally arrived! And it’s open, so even if you didn’t pledge in the kickstarter you can still jump in and get a TON of awesome stuff. If you’re a Conan fan and a skirmish game fan, not sure what you’re waiting for 🙂
These are nice renders, but as i feel they has been consistent with all the shown models in that they dont nearly live up to the cool concepts. Its like they are just a bit too losely based on the artwork. One notch better sculpting and it had been a no brainer to back.

Looking good. Its the King Conan from Xavier Collette’s guest box ( I think ).
That looks really promising.
Love Conan… I am a little overwhelmed on exactly how/what to buy in this thing though.
