After patiently waiting I finally received my collectors edition of Darwin’s Journey, and it was worth the wait. The setting for the game is during the time when Darwin was exploring and researching in the Galapagos Island, and the folks at Thundergryph Games have beautify turned that into a board game. From the wooden meeples, metal coins, and wax (rubber) seals, the attention to detail is amazing. From the massive 65 cm (25.6 in) board ,the debossed player boards, and the metal ink on the wood tokens; this games shows and showcases that you don’t need hundreds of mini to wow the players.
