GCT Show Off More Artwork For Bushido’s Wave 37
September 25, 2017 by brennon
GCT Studios are showing off more of the artwork which will feature as models in Wave Thirty-Seven of their releases for the world of Bushido.
The art style and direction appears to have changed for Bushido, embracing a decidedly more cartoony look, which is no bad thing. It certainly allows them to explore some fascinating designs for some of their characters, both human and not.
For example, I'm really looking forward to seeing what Bakemono looks like on the tabletop when it comes to the sculpting stage. I like this resting pose, but it would be cool to see him leaping into action too.
As well as this lovable gremlin fellow they also have some more demonic creations like Kabuki here with that rather dangerous looking sacrificial knife in hand. Imagine having to work out painting those bright reds and blues - would be quite the fun challenge.
Last but not least we have another of the Tengu which will be featured in a future wave of releases, and he is someone who doesn't quite look as noble as some of the others.
Watch out for more on this wave and more as we get a look at the miniatures and more artwork in the near future.
Are you a fan of the world of Bushido?
