FFG Build Their Android World With Premium Background Book
November 13, 2015 by brennon
We talked about The World Of Android before with much gusto and I still believe this is a great step in the right direction to have a sourcebook delving into the background of the Android world Fantasy Flight has built. Well, now they have announced the Premium Edition which is looking utterly breathtaking...
The Worlds Of Android is an artbook and sourcebook which delves into the background of this fantastic Cyberpunk world where Corporations control the world and individuals strive for a place in an uncertain future both on Earth and beyond it. Hopefully this really is the beginning building background for a role-playing game...
Above you can see the contents of this Premium Edition...
- One hardbound copy of The Worlds of Android signed by Android universe co-creator Dan Clark.
- An exclusive playmat featuring Amelie Hutt's stunning depiction of the New Angeles skyline
- Four high-quality art prints, measuring 12" by 18", with visionary work by David Nash , Liiga Smilshkalne ,Matthew Zeilinger , and Timothy Ben Zweifel
This will be available for those who order in North American before Christmas but others in the rest of the world might have to wait a little while to get a hold of it. You MUST order before December 1st 2015 however as that is the cut off point.
I need that playmat!

This isn’t a game. Its a background sourcebook for the cyberpunk world used in three other games: Android: Netrunner – this is the most well-known. An asymmetrical Living Card Game (collectable but using fixed-distribution packs, rather than blind boosters, where a pack contains particular cards and nothing is random.) The card game has one player (the Runner) hacking into the other players (the Corporation) servers to steal valuable Agendas before the Corporation can complete them. Android – a noir-esque whodunnit style game Android: Infiltration – a heist game where the players break into an office to steal data and escape… Read more »
Infiltration is seriously good fun, at my previous place of employment we managed to squeeze a game in most lunch times highly recommended if your looking for a quick to play hard to master game.
Android is the only one I’ve not played. The other two are great though so it’s on the list!
sounds good.
That cover gives me some serious Metropolis vibes =)
definitely a blade runner, neuromancer and shadowrun vibe, great art and gameplay!
Isn’t Weyland inspired by the alien movie corp as well ? seems they are really interested in space exploration
Sorry! Fat fingers down rated you instead of upvoying 🙁
