Weird World War Konflikt 47 Bolt Action Coming Next Year
June 15, 2015 by brennon
A post on Amazon has revealed that Clockwork Goblin are working alongside Osprey on the Konflikt 47 Bolt Action supplement which brings the Weird World War onto the tabletop with epic models. 19th of July 2016 is the date to have recorded in your diary...
The models above are just some of their stunning range that will be taking to the tabletop next year. It's a shame that the rules are so far away but it gives you plenty of time to assemble an army and for Clockwork Goblin to work with Osprey on refining the rules and models for us.
We've known that this was on the cards for a while since last years Salute but it's good to know that we have a proper book to look forward to!
Will you be saving for this release?

My interest in piqued – impressive as I don’t normally care for weird world war
I like the heavy walker.
Not really for me tbh. Walkers and all this is nice but it looks very much Dust to me so where are the news???
If they they would have chosen a more realistic and not over the top approach I’d be all over this.
The British infantry looks kind of okay apart from the anachronistic Mk1 helmets but with different heads they would make nice Stormtroopers for my Imperial Guard..
I’ll certainly be picking this up when it comes out.
For those looking for a slightly more realistic (or perhaps less unrealistic) scifi/WW2 setting check out Gearkrieg by DP9. It was a 15mm miniatures game and RPG.
Now this looks cool! This could be something I’d have a pop at.
They look nice – the walker would go on my list!
They look cool, but it’s a shame they wouldn’t match with all my Dust models due to scale. Which I hate complaining about, but 1/48 and true 28mm are just so noticeably not the right size. Although I really need to stop spending on money on Weird War II miniatures anyway.
This is so cool !!! Can be perfect for DUST and make a Brit Commonwealth army using the figs and walker for an armoured Platoon for the allies with supporting MCW walkers !!!
The models look very nice, purely on appearance I would rate them higher than any other weird war models I have seen and the British armoured infantry look even nicer.
Looks like I’m going to be spending even more money on Weird War II miniatures. I will still mix my Dust and 1/48 scale models for the full weird effect. I’m already doing a 10 mission campaign called Bolt Action Wolfenstein.
Pretty stupid that they went with a different scale than Bolt Action. This could have been a great compliment to Bolt Action so people could play what they already had but with a twist by adding in some of this new weird war stuff. Now they’ve turned it into a whole different game system that will cost another arm and leg to get into.
