Warlord Reinforce Your Soviet Troops with the Naval Brigade

Warlord have announced the release of the Soviet Naval Brigade as single figure reinforcements to your Bolt Action force.
"Commonly known as ‘The Black Death’, troops of the Soviet Naval Brigade were a fearsome opponent in many land battles on the Eastern Front."
So definitely a useful group of people to have on your side.
The miniatures themselves are not, in my opinion, the greatest to have emerged from the Bolt Action range. However, I can see them as being a very useful addition to your soviet force.
Can any of you history buffs tell us about these guys? What do you think of the miniatures?
