Warlord Go Island Hopping With Empires In Flames For Bolt Action
August 9, 2015 by brennon
Warlord Games have even more World War II coming down the pipe for you. Empires In Flames will deal with battles in the Pacific and other Far Eastern locations. It looks like a good reason to get your Americans and Japanese ready for Bolt Action...
As well as dealing with the conflicts of this frankly brutal warzone they will also have a special pre-order miniature as always. This time it's John Basilone who won the Medal of Honor and went on to be a 'poster boy' for the war effort.
With his iconic machine gun in hand, boiling away in his hands, he is ready to stop the Japanese advance. Don't you think he has something of the Scarface about him too?
Will you be getting this supplement?

Blimey these are coming thick and fast from Warlord Towers. I only got round to reading the early war one yesterday!
This looks good and at this rate there’ll be an Italy one before too long. Wahoo!
It’s good to see that John Basilone has his own sculpt now.
What about the Brits and Anzacs?
and India included with them too
haha I should have read their blurb:
“Contrary to popular belief the book isn’t all about Japanese and the US Marines! US Army and British Commonwealth forces took part across many areas of this vast theatre. The book also covers the Soviet/Japanese conflict with new threat selectors and troops types. So, from the famous Merrill’s Marauders to Australian Commandos, from ‘Mad’ Mike Calvert to Tadamichi Kuribayashi, and from the Japanese SS-Ki flamethrowing engineers vehcile to the units of the Indian National Army this book brings stacks of new material to your games of Bolt Action.”
Niiice
Turning Japanese I think I’m turning Japanese I really think so……….. Well I am for tomorrow nights game anyway.
Pre-ordered mine, might give me the mojo to paint the USMC sat on my shelf for the past year!
Awesome stuff Warlord.
Really looking forward to some of the minis that might come about from this…kind of hoping for some Brit and Commonwealth jungle troops in plastic. Any other plastics people are wanting to see from this book?
