Warlord Get Ready For Pacific Battles With New Bolt Action Sets
June 11, 2018 by brennon
Warlord Games might have a lot of focus towards the European theatre during World War II but they also put together some nice bundles this past weekend for those looking for a Pacific clash in Bolt Action with some big bundles.
The first of these big bundles is The Battle For The Islands which comes with all the things you need to start playing Bolt Action as well as a few extras here and there. As I've said before on The Weekender and such, these Battle Bundles are an awesome way for folks to get into the skirmish gaming of Bolt Action and learn to play.
If you want to go big with your Americans though we have the whole 4th Marine Division, 1st Company 23rd Marine Regiment USMC. Yep...
This set gives you a massive section of soldiers in plastic, loads of heavy guns, tanks, transports and more. You can make a darn good landing force with this set and have plenty of hobby for a good few months!
As the image says, its a full on 3000 point force!
Are you tempted to get into some island hopping with Warlord Games?

I just need to say, @foehammer888 – I think you have the greatest UserID icon image on the site. 😀
Why thank you 😉
Those are some nice boxed sets.

It’s missing a Japanese bundle somewhere to defend the islands. Also wondering where I would find a beach themed battle mat.
I think what they meant to say on US Marine Corps box set was “Able Company, 1st Battalion, 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division.” Marine Companies didn’t get numbers, they got letters (Able, Baker, Charlie, HQ in 1st Battalion – Dog, Easy, Fox, HQ in 2nd Battalion, etc). Source: The Organization of the Marine Infantry Regiment (Table of Organization – Approved 27 March 1944) (NAVMC–1488) In modern times this would be Alpha, Brave, Charlie, Delta, Echo, Foxtrot, etc … 23rd Marines were definitely attached to 4th Marine Division at the time, however. And a full Marine Company in WW2 was 247… Read more »
