Warlord Games Fight For Russia With The Daughters Of The Motherland
February 25, 2017 by brennon
Warlord Games has put together a pair of new releases for Konflikt '47 this weekend looking at some support for the Soviets and the Germans. Firstly we have the Daughters Of The Motherland.
These warrior women are now available for you to snap up from the Warlord Games website. Armed with rifles and all manner of special weapons they are a crack team ready to head into the most dangerous of circumstances for the Motherland.
They go through intense training and have gone through DNA enhancement too. Super-soldiers sounds good to us!
German Mech
Following on from these ladies we also have the release of the Flammspinne Panzermech for the German forces.
This walker for the Germans continues to build on their theme of their walkers have multiple legs compared to just the two for the US force. It is used for recon and as you can imagine, comes armed with a dangerous flamethrower.
So, if you found yourself facing off against one of these on the battlefield even cover isn't going to help you as it burns you out of it. Because of its legs it can also clamber over terrain possibly too dangerous for other tanks. It also looks rather cool!
Will you be bolstering either of your Weird World War forces this weekend?
Drop your thoughts below...

Definitely need a Daughters of the Motherland squad…….or maybe 2
I am finding myself afflicted with a burning desire to sing “the International” and “the Red Flag” , those Daughters of the Motherland are damn fine minis.
No combat heels, no underboob? How’s anyone supposed to know they’re women?
(Because my comment is robbed of its tone, well done Warlord for a realistic portrayal of women soldiers.)
Yes exactly, I concur 🙂
look awesome, mind you, would love to see more non-pulp female soviets for games like Bolt Action, they played a huge role, be nice to represent it more on the tabletop.
Have you seen the range from Bad Squiddo games? http://badsquiddogames.com/shop#!/Soviets/c/22615071/offset=0&sort=normal
OK BoW mangled my link a bit but you can figure it out, right?
I could see these even being used for alternate khador winter guard
I love these, I’m doing K47 Germans, but I eventually plan on adding K47 Soviets to my existing BA Soviets. These ladies are high on the list. They are soooo customizable in game terms.
nice.
I think that german mech is better than the one that preceeded it, and the Daughters are fantastic. I was on the fence with the Russians because of their weird war tank, terror squad and walkers, but the rest of the K47 infantry is very solid.
I hope that this spinne mech comes with hatch open option ,(ie you can see the driver) K47 is getting some great stuff
Konflikt ’47 is on my watch list, as is Bolt Action itself, germans all the way for me, once i go ahead and ” pull the trigger ” on them, as it were.
@kantor72 The really great thing about both games (K47 & BA) is that there is a proportion of minis that cross over between both games and the rules are (almost) identical (Actually so are the rules for Beyond the Gates of Antares)
Must resist til I get through the 80 infantry I picked up. Stunning minis though. Clockwork goblin are doing great work on Konflikt.
@somegeezer spot on regarding portrail of realistic female warriors, and bag squiddo. Got my eye on tank riders and sniper teams to round out the force.
Those Daughters of the Motherland are some great looking models and I could also see those easily used on female Valhallan Ice Warriors at 40k. That walker is also really nice.
