Warlord Drive Out A W.I.P Pakwagen For Bolt Action
November 17, 2015 by dracs
Warlord Games have another vehicle in the works for Bolt Action, this time for the Germans. Pretty soon we will be seeing the Sd.Kfz 234/4 Pakwagen armoured car drive out into the war, complete with its 75mm Pak 40 gun. That's gunna hurt!
This Pakwagen was part of a series of armoured cars produced by Germany during WWII, all based around a very versatile design which could be modified for specific purposes.
This new version comes equipped with one of Germany's staple anti-tank guns. Mounted on the armoured card chassis, this should provide you with a mobile and effective way in which to deal with the enemy tanks.
As usual with Bolt Action figures, the model itself looks great, capturing all the detail of the actual vehicle. I'm always impressed by their dedication to accuracy. Hopefully we won't have long to wait before it appears on the table.
Can you tell us anything more about how these vehicles were used? What do you think of the model?
"I'm always impressed by their [Warlord's] dedication to accuracy..."
Any idea if it’s metal/resin or plastic? I’m hoping for plastic!
Just what I was gonna ask..
Plastic would be fantastic (although I really don’t fancy the wheel assembly of the Puma..!).
Still, so much more fun to play around with and convert 😎
Looks great. How do you join the wheels?. What,s the problem with the Puma kit?.
I still have my old Airfix 1/72 one, it’s got to be 40 – 50 years old. So far I have all but one of one of my childhood armoured vehicles now in 1/56 scale. This complete the set.
nice Certainly looks like a up gunned puma.
It was one of the Sdkfz 234 series, same as the Puma. I had that Airfix kit.
One word: WANT!!!!
Mine waremacht brawcht das :-p
