So you made a StuH (Sturmhaubitze) out of your StuG (Sturmgeschütz). Or an assault howitzer out of your assault gun.
Like that idea. The StuH40 is my favorite version of the two. Because it had still the same use as originally intended. The StuG changed from an infantry support vehicle to an anti tank vehicle. Not quite helpful against bunkers and the likes.
Great Idea! 🙂
StuH42 I meant… hitted the wrong button on my keyboard -.-“
John, what are your thoughts on adding the basing material before you prime the models?
If you want to paint the basing then yes I’m all for it. I would do it when the material I have at home is what I want but is perhaps not the colour I want.
Did you drill the holes for the gun muzzles?
I use to glue the gun crew to the base once all is painted.
Wont it be too difficult to paint them once they are glued on the gun base?
Last question: Does the SPW crew better fit with the scale of the infantry models?
I haven’t drilled any gun muzzles.
And the models fit pretty well together.
Thank you for your reply. I just had to drill and file the muzzle of my Pak40 and LeH18.
A gun barrel is a gun barrel 😉
should look great as a unit.
Nice to see the force come together, gonna enjoy watching them get painted.
