Really liking these vlogs, great looking tanks as always and nice to see the variety of camo on the german side. I’m sure the idea’s already been had but putting in some rules to show the german side is now fighting for it’s homeland could be good, ignoring 1st couple of pin markers or passing pinning test with best 2 out of 3d6. The rolling reenforcements for the americans is definately going to result in a few Sherman, Sherman, Shermans. Maybe they would win via a held advance, by keeping an active tank in the german deployment area for 2… Read more »
Stay safe, guys!
@davetaylor, we’ve closed a little early to make sure everyone could get home before that wind gets too bad.
Great excuse to get some painting done 🙂 – assuming the lights stay on.
It’s not as bad down here as I thought it would be. Belfast seemed to be evacuated at mid-day given all the people along with myself that were heading to the bus and train station
Forces are looking really nice. Seeing so many tanks looking coherent all in the same colours makes me wish I’d painted all my Imperial Guard tanks in one go.
.. “because the Americans are starting to run out of Puff, a little bit…”
No, that happened in the Vietnam War.
Politically that’s what happened in Vietnam. Partly due to how the newspapers were reporting on it around the end of 44 into early 45 who claimed that the war would end “next week” This gave the soldiers… Read more »
@johnlyons, I was referring to the slang usage of “puff”, i.e. cannabis. However, I found your explanation of the reduced motivations of ground forces in combat, I haven’t studied the wars enough to have encountered that level of information, and found it quite interesting. Thanks!
haha! Oh wow, talk about taking a comment too seriously john… But hey, at least you found it interesting right? 🙂
Hope you are all safe 🙂
I’m really loving this project ,I wish I could play it out with you guys. Keep up the great work.
I use the plastic bristles from either a floor brush or dust pan brush for my aerials, they take paint nicely, and you will find it difficult to break them ( be careful when storing or transporting as they can be bent out of shape) I usually drill a hole about 3mm deep nd fix with Super Glue.
