Get Some Konflikt ’47 Inspiration With Soviets & 15mm Walkers
August 18, 2016 by brennon
Warlord Games and the community behind them on social media have been tinkering away creating all manner of awesome miniatures for Konflikt '47. For example here we have some awesome Soviet Heavy Infantry by Steve Day...
These aren't on sale yet but you can sometimes pick these up from some events if you're lucky. As well as that Lukasz has been tinkering away one one of the Grizzly Walkers for the US.
Here you can see it kneeling behind some cover as it readies its cannon to blast away its foes.
Last but not least we get a look at a different scale for Konflikt '47. Mick Allan plays the game in 15mm scale and shows off his Zeus Walker. Clockwork Goblin originally made these miniatures in 15mm...
...and while they don't have any of them right now there are some suppliers out there who still create the miniatures in this scale. Apparently the game plays perfectly well in 15mm as well as 28mm!
What do you think of the tinkering going on with Konflikt '47?

Those look really promising.
I would love the game in both scales….but yes to 15 mm for me
MickA you are the Man and I love these and just wish I knew where to get them from
I think I found a Unit for my Armored Sentinels can stand in as. Steel Legion Germans will be coming to the battlefield soon.
Fame at last… 🙂
nice.
Et tu Ben ??? I thought it was just Justin driving me towards playing this game. Well you $#$$ds have won, I ordered the rule book last night, and have a pre-order in for the German Army box. I love the crudeness of the Russian suits, (very fluffy and vaugely Ned Kelly-esc*) The German Walker tank looks interesting. I am wondering though since we get normal turrets to go with the hull of the K47 starter tanks, do we get hulls to go with the normal turret of thie walker tank? This all looks moderately fabulous. Thanks for the info.… Read more »
Ned Kelly ref isn’t so obscure, there was even a film about him, with Kris Kristofferson.
And another with Heath Ledger
I would say Ned Kelly is as (in)famous as Billy the Kid or Jesse James
There was also a crappy film about the Kelly gang in 1970 with Mick Jagger as Ned Kelly, not even trying for an Australian accent, which developed into sort of an unintentional comedy. “My mum says kissin’ a man with no beard is like eating porridge without salt. Do you take your porridge without salt miss?” The songs written by Shel Silverstein and performed by Waylon Jennings as if he were at a kiddy folk festival didn’t help much. In the 80’s Yahoo Serious made “Reckless Kelly” a sort of modernized version with Hugo Weaving in it which was unintentionally… Read more »
Ned Kelly was more likely to have an Irish accent being first generation, Same way Butch Cassidy had a Lancasterian one as both his parents were from theere
I am wandering FAR into citation needed territory with this but.

Basically the gist idea is that American Deep Southern(Virgina/North Carolina) accents and Australian accents are closer to the cosmopolitan 18th and 19th century British accents that formed them than any modern British/Irish accents are.
Might be bunk but it sure sounds good.
Kris Kristofferson…… really ???? I’ve heard of the Mick Jagger one and saw the Heath Ledger film …. but Kris Kristofferson? …..that really doesn’t seen right. and Warren and Lloyd’s mum who made him suffer through bad Australian drama (I am so soory about the Sullivans gents) probably watched the 1980ish Drama series with John Jarrett (actor Wolf Creek 1 & 2)…. but Kris Kristofferson???? Live and learn eh??
Thanks by the way for all that info. Obviosly war gammers are very rounded people in their general knowledge, because one thing nearly a decade on internet chat sites have taught me was never assume.
Just reading the rules now and waiting for the Russian starter set coming out and hopefully they do one for the Japanese.
No lmg or mmgs fix in this book though. Was hoping that this may have been sorted for 47 and v2, still fingers crossed for a fix in v2 that we can just port across.
I like the builds, but seriously: A well armoured mech hiding behind a few barrels? They will not stop any bullet, that would be harmful to the mechs own armour. Sure looks great, ut I am not convinced about the fluff behind it.
Obviously it’s so that when he runs out of ammo he can start chucking them Donky Kong style 😉
oops my bad, was Mick Jagger I was thinking off, Kris was in a western re: Billy the Kid & Pat Garret.
As Torros said, its fair to say he was an infamous desperado in the mold of Dillenger, various western outlaws and Blackbeard and other associated ilk of the rogues gallery.
What a coincidence I have just painted up a load of these, 4 Thor, 2 Zeus, 3 Spiders and some ‘46 Forged in Battle tanks….
Can I add pictures?
