Warlord Detail New Konflikt ’47 British & Soviet Starter Armies
November 22, 2016 by brennon
Warlord Games has started taking pre-orders for their new starter armies in Konflikt '47 as the British and the Soviets take very different approaches to warfare in this Weird World War setting.
Leading the way we have the British and as you can see above it comes with all manner of awesomeness inside the box. The really epic features of the set would have to be the Automated Infantry and the Guardian Light Walker.
They are then supporting a good selection of standard infantry and a Cromwell-T Medium Tank. You will also get (as with both sets) the rules, transfers, dice, markers and more you need to play the game.
Now it's time for the Soviets to get stuck in!
Sadly there are no massive werebears within this set but you do get some clanking Heavy Infantry in their powered armour supporting a host of soldiers.
In terms of big pieces of armour you get your hands on the Cossack Light Walker, which has a nice distinctive style to it, and the T-34/ZP Medium Tank with all manner of strange science stuff strapped to it!
These are both great looking sets and while I do like the idea of the British army with their Automatons the fact that the Soviets will be getting werebears just has to be taken into account!
Which of the two would you choose?

that soviet walker is the balls! infact, love the whole soviet set. definitely gonna be my army when i have some spare funds to get into this game
Both of those starter armies look really good.
Going to pass on the soviet starter. I have too many soviet infantry already! I’ll definitely be picking up a couple of the walkers and special infantry when they get released separately.
Been waiting for the soviets even though Brits are cool. Going to be my xmas leave project. Ho Ho Uncle Joe
That Cossack Walker looks great and unique.
The T34/ZP looks great, here’s hoping it works as well as I suspect on the battlefield
the tanks look brilliant.
I like both these starter armies…..I like them both a lot…….Damn I wonder if i really need 3 armies in this game system …….*looks at wallet* ……”don’t hate me ” …..sigh
