Warlord Games have put the D-Day Firefight Starter Set for Bolt Action up for pre-order now so you can get yourself started or indeed bolster your forces for the World War II tabletop game...
D-Day Firefight comes with...
- Bolt Action mini rulebook
- Scenario booklet
- 1 modular plastic ruined farmhouse
- 10 plastic multi-pose 28mm German infantry
- 1 plastic 1:56 scale Sd.Kfz 251/1C Hanomag half-track
- 20 plastic multi-pose 28mm US Army troops
- Quick reference sheet
- 60 Pin Markers
- 2 Rulers
- 10 six-sided dice
- 10 Bolt Action Orders Dice
...and looks like a great new set to get you going with Bolt Action. I like that it comes with a scenario booklet as well as I LOVE playing through a narrative campaign using starter sets and slowly developing the force over time.

Looks like a really good set, esp with the inclusion of a vehicle to give just a lil taste of the chaos!
Also as a lil side not for anyone that orders the German infantry sprue (I ordered just so I can figure out my squad etc) they dont actually come with any guns! rookie error on my part.
Bit of a shock at first! Mind you, can come in handy – may be a bit tame but I’ve been converting some weird world war West Germans using a mix of the German sprues with a few American parts and US weaponry, the interchangeability is fantastic – hell, even converted Steiner from the classic film Cross of Iron (based on a cracking book, well worth a read) with his cap, his captured PPsH and his no nonsense attitude haha Was apprehensive when I first looked at Bolt Action but it’s well worth it, between that and Black Powder, I… Read more »
