Konflikt ’47 Gets Some British ‘Bots In The New Year From Warlord
December 21, 2016 by brennon
Konflikt '47 will be getting plenty of new reinforcements in the new year from Warlord Games and Clockwork Goblin including these British AMP Robots.
This fellow here is an Autonomous Mobile Platform created in the Bombardier Configuration. As you can see it's quite the sturdy looking piece of kit that can bring its arms around to shield itself when it sets up to fire. How cool!
The use of so many Robots in the British faction is nice to see and helps differentiate them from the other Allied forces.
What do you think of the AMP?

Amazing! It really is. Brilliant concept too.
@unclejimmy Do like them i have to say, makes me wonder if i could get a small dolly spray it silver and call it mecha vera lynn,…
These British K47 models really tickle me. They are characterful and look like what you’d expect WWII robots to look like. Almost quaint. After I finish the Germans (sigh….paint more… dither less) it is going to be a toss up as to what army i’ll do afterwards (I like to have 2 armies for the systems I play so and can ” introduce ” friends into game)
unusual model.
They’re a bit comical. Is that the style they’re going for?
Very nice steampunk version of Guntank from Gundam.
That’s a rather nice idea. I’m starting to like the Brits.
Brits really tempt me so characterful but my soviets just arrived so sticking with them.
Bastion…….
Well their not atomic supermen, but they do have a cannon in their chest. Not exactly sure my the robuts would need to drop their shield arms though (or just have the shield mounted on the chassis spaced armor style).
Maybe they can hit other units with them ?
A little whimsical but it still fits with the other British robots. The American stuff looks very much as expected from Detroit. I think they are really making a go at the factions keeping a stylistic system for each.
Oh ffs. Now I have to change faction.
My imagination is running away with me now. Imagine being axis infantry when this bad boy shows up……He smacks the crap out of you all with his massive shield-fists and then uses your position to set up a forward gun emplacement. I mean come on, play fair!
“Holy crap! AMP!! Get in the house, get in the house!!”
AMP smashes an AMP size doorway in said house…..
“Get out of the house, get of the house!!”
That remembers me:

XD
I think that should have used a universal carrier as the base for the body
