Another Bridge to Cross by Warlord Games
June 27, 2014 by stvitusdancern
Warlord Games in conjunction with Sarissa Precision announced a new piece of scenery for Bolt Action. This time you can add a fully functioning Dutch Canal type bridge to your collection.
Warlord Games states this bridge is wide enough for tanks and can be raised and lowered depending on the scenario you are playing.
It is made out of MDF and I wonder how well it will take to priming and painting as we all know MDF can be a little thirsty when it comes to paint. I do have to say it does look really good and will definitely add some regional character to your game table.
Unfortunately they do not have dimensions posted, so I do not know what the span of the bridge is, however in one of the pictures they show a Sherman tank crossing and it looks to be the length of the tank.
I will be adding one of these to my collection, how about you? Is it a bridge too many?
Its cool, but my baneblade will definitely get stuck lol
It makes me want to put on my clogs to dance through the tulips.
I have neither clogs nor Baneblades but I do like this piece. I like the growing availability of affordable terrain for all wargaming scales.
Excellent looking terrain, definitely on the shopping list for WWII/Dust games.
The strategic importance for the control of bridges makes them great objectives in any game. This will make a cool centre piece.
Hmmm
just the thing to recreate a Van Gogh maybe?

I haven’t used any so have no idea if it would warp the parts, but basically if you seal the surface first to stop the MDF being so porous the primer should go on easier. Something like Klear acrylic floor polish that is used by modellers as a varnish among other things might do the trick, or even some PVA… Read more »
