Hi guys,
at min. 2:30 can you really RUN throug an obstacle? (the hedge).
In regards to the running through hedges thing I think in the bolt action rulebook it says infantry suffer no penalty for moving through hedges but I’m not sure on that. I guess if it is true it’s to allow a more fluid movement around the battlefield rather than being bogged down all the time 🙂 makes for a more maneuverable game in my opinion.
Great show guys. It is really teaching a lot of stuff.
I love the Bolt Action videos. 🙂 very useful
Very informative 🙂 great show chaps!
Page 27 says: Infantry can cross obstacles with a n advance order. You can´t cross with a run order. Page 28 has the movement in a nice little chart.
You can move over obstacles when you are assaulting, IF you are covering behind it.
Awesome video
4:00 – that correction on the MMG with “Hitler’s Buzzsaw” rule makes sense. “Hitler’s Buzzsaw” was the MG42 historically. MMGs in German tanks were usually MG15s or similar derivatives of the MG34. Different gun
I wonder if Bolt Action has differences in MG performance based on whether they’re firing from BIPODS or TRIPODS. Big difference, especially at long range, in actual combat.
I don’t have access to the rule book at the moment (I’m at work) but I’m certain that the Hitler’s buzzsaw rule does not apply to vehicle mounted weapons.
I too have killed Justin’s Puma, but very little else, whilst my Ruskie’s died in droves!
lets call it a moral victory for you 🙂
