Bolt Action Rules For Mad Jack & Sneak Peek At New Fallschirmjager
May 28, 2015 by brennon
Keeping with a decidedly World War II theme for today we have more previews and a rules update from Warlord Games for Bolt Action. Not only have they introduced some rules for using Mad Jack Churchill in your games but also shown off the new Fallschirmjager plastic kit 3Ups that will be coming to a boxed set soon...
Fallschirmjager Kit Soon
First up we'll take a look at said Fallschirmjager who have been shown off with a vast variety of different weapon options and additional extras that will keep any World War II enthusiast giddy with excitement when it comes to the possibilities here...
As you can see they are looking very nice indeed and with the way the arms have been designed I hope that means we're going to be seeing the guns attached to the arms once again like with the recent Panzergrenadier kit.
Considering the amount of shiny syndrome I was feeling over the weekend with the Boot Camp it's hard to resist buying more troops when you see kits like this coming soon. It looks like I might just end up buying a whole lot more infantry.
Mad Jack
As well as the Germans we have someone very willing to fight them. With the latest book, Germany Strikes, you get a model for Mad Jack as part of the pre-order and Alessio Cavatore has come up with some rules for him.
You can find the full rules for him over on the links above but he comes with his trademark bow (counts as a rifle), his bagpipes which can give a massive boost to morale when around nearby allies and he is of course a tough fighter.
Check the rules out and use him in your games!

After the painting and uniform info during the recent Boot Camp these would be a great addition to any German Army.
I have a soft spot for mad Jack AFAIK the only one to register a kill in WW2 using a bow
Mad Jack was a legend in his own lifetime, a complete nutter in the best possible sense.
Fallshirmjager could fit in with every period in the war, depending on the options on the sprue, though you could swap weapons with some of Warlord’s other plastics I suppose if you wanted a particular setting. They were in North Africa as well as all over Europe at one stage or other.
Excellent!
I will need more than only one box of these.
Plastic Paras and Airborne are a must do for WG now 🙂
Sigh… I am this close to spending thousands on WWII stuff.
