Oooo, I like that idea, always thought that was lacking from my city fight games.
If there are morris dancers I’m pretty sure you’re allowed to shoot them under the hauge convention right?
Is there a good place to buy civilian minis for Bolt action? I allways thought that most games I have played lacked civilians. Would love some 40K with civilians too.
Wargames Factory has two nice sets of Survivors (The Men and The Women) that would do well for civilians (armed and unarmed) at a good price. Although they are modern designs, there’s enough to variety that you could repurpose most of them to a 1940s look.
For 40k civilians, I’ve seen some people convert necromunda models.
checkout http://wk.frothersunite.com/sc/pulp/ww2civilians.htm for a few options…
Oh, it definitively gives more depth to the game. I did feel a bit strange that all the houses are always empty.
