Zombie Hordes Attack In New Axis & Allies Game
November 6, 2018 by cassn
It is 1941, and the hell of war is all too real. The Axis and the Allies are fighting what feels like a neverending battle for dominance. And then there's the zombies.
As the commander of one of the five major powers, you are charged with planning a strategy to win the war. But each battle provides more fresh corpses for the flesh-eating hordes, and the problem is getting out of hand. With your human enemies on one side, and the ravenous undead on the other, it is time to ask yourself, “Do I invest in tanks or chainsaw tanks?”
Axis & Allies & Zombies is the latest installment to the Axis & Allies board game series. As a major power aligned with either the Axis or the Allies, you must defeat both your foe and the looming zombie horde.
The game includes five powers to select from either the allied or axis forces, 210 plastic miniatures (including 30 new zombie miniatures), and an introductory scenario. Axis & Allies & Zombies also includes an 80-card expansion deck for Axis & Allies 1942, so fans of the series can expand their base game.
Axis & Allies & Zombies has received mixed reviews so far, with fans of the series complaining that the zombie ruleset doesn't streamline quite as well with the rest of the game as perhaps would be needed. Personally, I think it feels a little gimmicky, but the inclusion of a zombie mechanic may be enough to drive more custom to the Axis & Allies series.
Axis & Allies & Zombies was released at Halloween, and interested zombie-slayers can bag their copy from their local game store or online through Amazon.

So you get financial kick-back from that Amazon link?
It’s not exactly easy to strip the unwanted extra data from these links as they include a referal code when sharing the amazon links as well …
This is the ‘cleanest’ link possible :

Totally unintentional I promise, and no kickback referral for us!
It pleases me that they realized the proper name for this game is “Axis and Allies and Zombies.”
I’ve never been in love with Axis and Allies, but it could definitely be improved with Zombies.
