Last year, Gray Wolf Games were on Kickstarter with Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path. This fantasy title placed players on a journey toward their martial arts lineage. Balancing yin and yang, harnessing the flow of their chi, and hoping to take on the status of Master. Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path will be heading to retail this Autumn, as players harness their chi and prepare for a strategic adventure.

Board Setup // Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path
Masters have been secretly conspiring to train their students for power as a lineage holders, hoping to continue the prosperous balance. However, there is a new Emperor whose plans for the empire are regressive. Attempting to bring all peoples under one banner, hoping to corner the lands with his overseeing towers.
Given that the title is for 1-6 players - the vast majority taking the role of martial art students and one as emperor. There are two ways in which players can win the game.
Animal Cards - Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path
Players who will be taking the role as students will be focusing on maintaining their lineage markers and cultivating chi, progressing towards the central octagon before others, hoping to collect the five animal cards scattered around the board withheld by masters. The Emperor will attempt to construct, in hopes to unify the empire, bringing forces of great power into the mix. If all four towers are built in the corners of the board, before one student reaches the centre, the Emporer will automatically win.
Wu Wei: Journey of the Changing Path will be headed to retail in Q3 2022, so if you missed your chance to pick up the abstract strategy board game title on crowdfunding, you'll be happy to know that you'll be able to pick it up in retail this year.
