It's A Wonderful Kingdom // La Boîte de Jeu

Unlike the first title in the universe, It's A Wonderful Kingdom will focus on craft drafting as 1-2 players will bet and bluff their way to the rights of the monarchy. Taking place in a low-fantasy universe, players will see themselves in the midst of a weak and decaying empire as they take control to race their opponents to the throne and rulership over the lands.

Taking away the sword fights and magic pelting, players will need to prove worthy and dominant to take leadership within the empire as they develop structures, uncover mysteries and discoveries, construct monuments all to rake in a wealth of victory points to place whomever in power.

By utilising cards as the main mechanic, ensuring players can entrap their opponents from progressing. Players will utilise their resources to progress, allowing them to construct or trade-in cards for a bigger and more ambitious thought in mind towards raking in the victory points.

Utilising the successful mechanics that are showcased in It's A Wonderful World, the new sequel returns with new challenges, more interaction and bluffing to propel schemes into the next round.

The game was released on January 28th, already sold out in some FLGS stores and online. There are still a few copies hanging around if you look carefully. Allowing players who did not back the Kickstarter a chance to expand their 'It's A Wonderful...' universe with La Boîte de Jeu.
