Renegade Working On Saban’s Power Rangers Tabletop Games

There's little to go on right now but Renegade Game Studios are going to be bringing the punishers of the putties to the tabletop for their Saban’s Power Rangers collection of games.
Here's what they said in their statement.
"Inspired by the iconic, 25-year franchise, the upcoming tabletop games will be focused on fan experiences that uphold the Power Rangers’ brand core values of teamwork, inclusivity, and diversity. Featuring the globally recognized Rangers as well as well known villains, locations, and more, these games will reward super fans and also, intrigue players who have recently been introduced to the brand."
It will be interesting to see what they do but there is plenty of scope for the game and the property going forward. You can always work with the combat angle with the players as the Rangers, or scale it up and have the Megazord going up against all manner of weird creatures.
Oh, and in case you forgot what the Power Rangers was...

Come on now…. its not april 1st yet. Lets not roll the jokes out. There is a great mechanic in this game, when you fail an important roll/test/whatever and accept that it was ok to lose, you actually win! Everyone high fives! You then put the badguy miniatures/cards/tokens/whatever back in the box saying “curse you power rangers!” In your silliest voice. You then laugh with your friends and then all stand stock still until the credit song finishes.
