Work Together To Land A Plane In Scorpion Masque’s Sky Team

Scorpion Masque has a fun game landing in October for two players to get stuck into. Work cooperatively to land your plane in Sky Team which you'll probably get to pick up at Essen SPIEL 2023!

I love the box and that "immersive" and "high drama" tag in the bottom left. Considering the amount of air disaster films and TV shows I've had to watch with my partner, I can see this being pretty much that.

As a cooperative game, you will be working together as a team to land your airplane in different airports around the world. You will need to silently assign your dice to the correct spaces in the cockpit to balance the axis of your plane, control its speed, deploy flaps and extend the landing gear. All this whilst contacting the control tower to clear the way in. You might even want to chuck back a bunch of coffee to help mitigate your bad luck and change the value of your dice.

You need to make sure that all of these elements are balanced because if any one element of that preparation fails, you could lose the game, your license and maybe even your life! High octane stuff indeed. I also doubt that Sully's river landing is considered part of the playbook in this particular game.

All of the different airports around the world offer their own challenges allowing you to dive into tougher and tougher situations as you play. Solving the puzzle of Sky Team with a friend could end up being a great way to add a tactical edge to your evening.
