WizKids & Nickelodeon Team Up For TMNT Tabletop Games
June 4, 2015 by stvitusdancern
An announcement has come out of Origins that Wizkids and Nickelodeon have reached an agreement to bring TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) to the tabletop in a couple of games.
The first and obvious choice is a version of Heroclix which has grown in popularity here in the states with the younger crowd. The second game will be TMNT Dice Masters set.
Which makes sense when they already have superhero sets being grabbed up as soon as they hit the shelves. Per the announcement both games will be available later this year.
Are you ready for some "heroes in a half-shell"?

Take them off the bases and use them for….MARS ATTACKS..!!!!! YES….
As a HC Player since day 1 i have to say IT’S ABOUT TIME! They should have been in the first indy clix set
I like how they went old school and gave them all red bandanas etc.
thats weird i was just thinking the other day how TMNT would do on the tabletop 🙂 hope there can be a board game as well
It’s nice to feel young for once my first reaction was why don’t they have the different coloured bandanas?
In the original series they all wore red, youd know who was who by the weapons and character 🙂
Ack ack?
🙂
Well that only took 13 years! Seriously, though, I am stoked. Always a fan of clix, I’ve been waiting forever for them to do a set with the turtles.
