Willy-Miniatures Welcome the Amazons to the Football Field

Chaos might be on the cards for Willy-Miniatures but there is also a selection of Amazon players looking to take to the Fantasy Football Field. Check out a Linesman and Blitzer below...
They might look a little bit more like cheerleaders than players, but I think I will wait to see what the whole team looks like before making a decision. Willy-Miniatures have always created superb sculpts, and these are no different.

While I really like the look of the sculpts, I see they follow the trend of “Less is… less” that you find in just about all female “Fantasy Football” minis. Who knows, maybe these teams can only get sponsorship if 25% (or less) of their body is covered with clothing or armor. I actually need a female Blood Bowl mini for use in a WFRP game and even with a lot of agility and dodge blow, I doubt even the zealots would go into battle wearing nowt but underwear and boots. For all the talk about women minis having less than dental floss on, football may very well be the one exception. After all there is a real lingerie football league, so this could be a wink to that game.
