Wheaton & Co Bluff & Haggle Through Sheriff Of Nottingham On Tabletop!
February 6, 2015 by brennon
Geek & Sundry's Tabletop took on another cool game yesterday in the form of Sheriff of Nottingham! In this game you'll be bluffing and haggling your way through the gates to the city in the hopes of smuggling your regular goods AND contraband through to help Robin Hood and his Merry Men...
Each turn some of you will be playing as the Merchants trying to get your good through the gate while one of your group plays the role of the Sheriff...
...it's a really good game that really gets people to bluff and work out the tells of each other player at the table. It's also got a really satisfying mechanic in the way the little satchels of goods 'pop' open when they get checked. It's even a part of the mechanics! Once the button pops you can't stop the Sheriff looking inside!
Watch the episode above, it's a good one this week.
Have you played?

I wish he’d do an episode with the Big Bang Theory crowd in character…
Aaaargh – 2 minutes in and the “Nott-ing-Ham” pronounciation is already driving me nuts
It’s “Nutting-erm” you American *%$&*$ 😉
Actually it’s “Nutting-erm m’duck” 😛
That is a really cool game ! 🙂
It is really interesting that you decided to post it in Historical section…
