Werewolves Of Miller’s Hollow Gets A Disney-Themed Reskin
August 11, 2021 by fcostin
The Werewolves of Miller's Hollow is a card game in which I have enjoyed and dabbled over the years, especially in a party environment. A hunt for the werewolf, or an attempt to escape death. This social deduction, player elimination game is getting an interesting new spin - and no it doesn't include a different mythical creature, but some famous Disney Villains instead! In Asmodee's new whimsical card game adventure - Gathering of the Wicked.

There are Disney-Villain-Themed board and card games coming out left, right and centre. And this newest addition to the plethora of interactive Disney adventures adds a complete reskin to a lovable classic.
Players take on the role of some of the most established Disney villains out there, whether it be Captain Hook, Prince John, or Hades - in seek for the most devious villain of them all - the lying, cheating betraying mastermind to trick the untrickables!
Working in teams, players will be provided with a set of objectives that will need to be completed in secrecy. Away from the other villains and most importantly - their opponents. In the hope to find the biggest betrayer of all, players will debate and bluff their way through a series of objectives to find the odd one out.

Each villain is provided with a special set of powers that will be specific to that character only. Therefore plenty of time for players' characters to pull out a trick up their sleeve - or a few!
The game itself will roughly take about 30 minutes to play, similarly to the original skinned version, Werewolves of Miller's Hollow. The player count is certainly not one to be ignored, with the ability to play against up to eleven more people - this may be a great party game for players of all ages teaming up with some devious parents who are very good at lying their way out of a sticky situation!
The game is set to be released by Asmodee this October, so if you are looking to get some social deduction skills taught early on to your little ones, or want a fantastic and familiar game to play at your next games' night - be sure to keep updated on the website for more information on the pin-pointed release day.
