NOTE: Gozer is the main baddie, not Zuul.
Zuul was was the Gatekeeper.
Dam… I knew I’d mixed that up 🙂
In my Language Gozer means Dude. What kind of a name is that for a badguy.
One that’s technically not even a guy.
Happy Sunday!
Happy sunday
LOL , no decent Sci Fi Game you have played….you mean no 15mm game that beasts of war has promoted.
There are LOTS of players out there on Facebook especially that play Sci Fi 15mm , Gruntz , Patrol Angis.
I think a look at http://dropshiphorizon.blogspot.co.uk would help
I couldn’t think of anything at the time off the top of my head. Will have a look at them.
Happy Sunday!!!
I typed ‘schwere’ into Google and it translated it as ‘serious’, and I thought they can’t be…
But when I typed in the whole ‘schwere feldprojektor’ , it changed the translation to ‘gravity field projector’.
Clearly, this is a really heavy subject… 😉
… the second translation is the right one I can assure you 😉 If it was heavy field projector it has to be spelled “schwerer”.
as a German I have say that if it has to be a Gravity Field Projector than it has to be written Schwerefeldprojektor. As a Schwerer Feldprojektor it is a heavy field projector. Heavy as in heavy tank or heavy artillery. Not in the sense of gravity.
But in any case it is weired… so who cares? 😉
And btw. @dignity butchered all the german names anyway *sigh*
Happy Sunday!
In Malifaux, once the Strategy nd Schemes (yjink shared and personal objectives that score VP throughout the game) it’s usually a case of selecting your crew. These are usually themed around the Master and some core models with a couple of model and upgrade options chosen to match the objectives. Should only take 5 minutes.
Apart from seeing the cool renders this is a game that is noticabe by its absence on BoW.
*think shared…
Games get coverage on the site if either a) someone on the team is playing it, or b) the company who owns the game helps provide content. Without either or both of those then there is no content to film, so no coverage (beyond news items). That said, Dawn has dabbled in Malifaux and has provided content for the site. If Wyrd want to get involved I’m sure there’d be a lot more that could be done.

Happy Sunday! Great show guys.
I just wanted to point out: Netrunner happen to be a TCG back in the 90s and was a great game back then. As a living card game it is even become better in my oppionion. Big plus – the Cyberpunk setting is just cool. One of the best recommendations if you like a break from miniature games 🙂
That’s a pain Backstage vids don’t run on my tablet anymore ? There’s me thinking it would be a good idea to leave the laptop at home.
What tablet are you trying to play the video on?
Samsung galaxy tab 2
Given the number of people that use tablets to access bow it would be good to see dedicated Android and Apple apps to view the site.
Mine is a galaxy tab 4, usually get frozen video 2 to 3 times per episode of xlbs and at least one blue screen followed by a hard reboot, weekender never has problems since I watch it through youtube. I just thought it was my tablet and it’s age guess it’s not the case since others are having trouble as well.
Hi
had a similar issue with my Kindle Fire, ever since the team changed the player, put in a tech query as tablet plays from you tube and vimeo fine, will advise what I hear back. I expect its optimised for i-device.
On the upside it is a glorious day so I won’t have any trouble passing the time until I can get home and get my xlbs fix
After watching the Saturday show on my tablet I have taken to having my laptop beside the bed Saturday night so I can wake up to the XLBS weekender. My Android tablet, loaded with plenty of codex struggles to go more than a couple of minutes without hitting a hitch.
I gave never had any problem with my Hudl
Netrunner I think is the best lcg that FF produce. It’s a brilliant theme and the asymmetric gameplay capture the runner and Corp backstory and gets you to easily invest into the characters of the game, and it has an amazing amount of deck building options and synergies to explore to win the games.
Team Covenent do a great YouTube job of covering this game.
Another great xlbs guys.
Justin it’s Jin”trapy” not Jinteki
Netrunner is a mighty fine game though A Game of Thrones 2e has completely supplanted it in my affections.
I quite like the Lord of the Rings one. Though I think that’s mainly because it’s cooperative rather than competitive.
Happy Sunday!
If you love weird wars and orcs … try to read Grunts! by Mary Gentle …. well this time it’s a twist in another way. Your typical High Fantasy-World where a band of Orcs gets magicaly transformed into the mindset of US Marines … and all the following chaos. A lot of black humor and violence 😉
Was gonna mention Grunts, always hoped they’d be more stories .
For Halo it would in my opinion nice to see them trying to do something like 2nd edition epic and have fixed unit cards broken up into heavy, flyer and light for example. Then scenarios could tell you what mix of cards your allowed for that scenario You could even get rid of points values if you wanted to
You guys crack me up! The weekly meeting to decide which topics Lloyd and Justin are going to argue about must be getting pretty long these days!
Happy Sunday. For Battle of Britain, two little croupier sticks are one of the stretch goals.
Cool then you can have the full situation room feel.
The difficulty games like ‘Gruntz 15mm’ face is they are often one man bands, in the case of Gruntz, Robin Fitton. He and many like him have an uphill struggle competing with the likes of ‘The Big League’ players, but, it doesn’t naturally follow that just because it is a comparatively, low budget production, that it isn’t a good game, Gruntz is an excellent 15mm Sci-Fi game and Robin does a tireless job in attending shows in order to promote it!
I agree with you LLoyd, orcs in Konflikt 47 if you can have zombies you can have orcs that have been mutated by experiments it would be fun.
Panzerfaust looks cool. I think it would be cool to get them and play Bolt Action with them and some WWII tanks and transports. I didn’t get in to Bolt Action because I don’t want to paint historical uniforms. But now with these Panzefaust mini’s I might start a WWII Orc English army for Bolt Action.
some interesting games guys the netrunner game reminds me of syndicate a pc game out in the 80s.
love team yankee
Happy sunday guys! or early monday by your time!
Justin bringing out Netrunner this week and heralding its qualities was really funny. He often is the first in the group it seems like to get new stuff so its funny he is so late to the netrunner party. It wont seem as untimely a week from now when he is telling everyone how good Evil Dead 2 is though.
Great show lads. Halo looks rad!
Happy sunday!
Dustin and Lloyd…This might be the clinic for your problems!:
