Aww Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Andrea.
Happy Saturday and Birthday
Happy Birthday Andrea and Happy Weekend
Cannot wait for Reich Buster kickstart date. I am for sure loosing my Kickstater Cherry on this game.
That terrain looks pretty good for 40k Kill Team or even Infinty. The ancient ruins look good for D&D or Frostgrave.
Happy Birthday Andrea, have a great weekend!
It’s the Weekend!!
Happy Birthday Andrea! A few more birthdays for me and every day will feel like a Weekend, with only things like Weekenders to remind me what day it is 😉
@Brennon Strange & Norrell is set a few years before Victorian times – more Napoleonic and Georgian, with Gentlemen reviving the lost ability to practice magic in a sceptical world but eventually being able to prove their worth campaigning in Europe. Good as the series was, it’s one of those that for the full immersive experience the book is essential. A fantastic setting to develop for RPG purposes thinking back to recent discussions on world building.
my son has magnetic shapes meant to be put together to make buildings and 3D shapes in a similar way. I was thinking it would be a good idea for table top modular terrain. It’s good to see someone has done it. I’d sure love to build a 3D labyrinth tower
Happy birthday and Happy Weekend!
Happy birthday Andrea!
A touch of class with that birthday message. The terrain looks like clever concept, with the magnets and/or tab options
hype hype – oh yes yes – the weekender has landed – Good Morning all from here on the south coast UK, Brighton 🙂
Happy Birthday.
10 day campaign? Why hype upon hype? Makes me suspicious.
Smaller product range. It’s as simple as that.
Take most campaigns and you see the initial surge, then weeks of inertia before the final push. Cut out the inertia stage! I think they’ve learnt from the last few and are catching up with the general feeling that some projects were just getting too big with a drip-drip SG release. I’ve learnt my lesson and for recent campaigns I’ve personally been restraining myself to the core box, often coming with a box of SGs and then only Add-ons that don’t just bloat the bundle with more minis. MB:P I added Poseidon, Hate just added Mother Prophecy, Joan of Arc… Read more »
I think that some kind of Atlantis style terrain would be cool.
The Aztec style set would be good for a Legion table, maybe as a Sith/Jedi Temple.
I like that idea!
Happy birthday Andrea!
Two different but awesome terrain sets on show. Both Kickstarters have my interest piqued. The grimy industrial stuff looks perfect for Necromunda and the Aztec type stuff would be ideal for an alternative 40k setting.
Nice show guys. I would definitely go for the Mayan Rampart version as this will be great for games of frostgrave, and pirate skirmish games with lots of overgrown jungle terrain.
Could also be used for games using my predator minis from AvP hunting humans they have captured similar to the film from a few years back
Archon Terrain? What I’d appreciate would be simple, clean, modern architecture panels (perhaps with ability to slot in ‘glass’) for offices, research labs. So flexible for 20th-21st century modern through to near-future settings.
I would try to create an abandoned research lab landscape out of the rampart set. Looks really sweet!
42 Seconds @warzan 42!!!! Not ten. But I beer’ed 😉
Here in Germany women get older then 21… they get 29, 29a, 29b, 29c… you get the idea. 😉 Happy (maybe belated) birthday to andrea…. And I really hope @warzan has gotten her something substantial to. Like a nice dinner. A new car. 😉
On with the show.
I like to say I am 21 plus VAT only the VAT increases.
And yes Warren did brill on the pressie front ?
“Anything fun that can happen on the table top” …. soooo we’re getting a 18+ section? Or is that a reference to the idea that John should paint in a small booth in your new venue behind a curtain and people pay to lift that curtain? 😉
all the walls are laminated and can be cleaned with a squeegee
So everything has a “happy end” *badumm* *tiss*
A lot of those tables aren’t sturdy enough for most of the fun in an 18+ section….
Have you tested?
I have an experienced calibrated eye. 😛 You learn fast to avoid tables that won’t handle a proper amount of “attention”. In the heat of the moment you don’t have time to reverse the polarity. 😉 🙂 😉
But it’s just a jump to the left…. and then a step to the riiiight…. XD *something* *something* pelvic thrust*
Leets dooooo the timewarp agaaaaaain
put your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight 😉
Happy Birthday Andrea and happy weekend to everyone 🙂
I have read ‘Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell’, and i concur: It is one of the best fantasy novels, nay, perhaps one of the best novels i have read. Its author, Susanna Clarke, manages to imply an alternate history cum fantasy world that promises to be as vast and detailed as J.R.R. Tolkien’s or G.R.R Martin’s. The premises and consequent narratives have what are, in my experience at least, a refreshing original take on the subject of magic and, thereby, the fantasy genre.
